The Peace Rises exhibit moves to the Aperture Gallery next week after a “going away” appearance at Gallery 9 in Culver City this Saturday. Hopefully anyone who hasn’t seen this exhibit will take this opportunity before it moves to the East coast.
NAKED SHEETS is an exhibit featuring new and existing images by Ray Hennessy.
These images continue to explore the visual and tactile contradictions between the human figure and the environment – with nothing between the viewer and the image.
Opening Reception: Thursday, November 17th from 6 till 9 pm

It’s hard enough sometimes to tell people what I do. In this case, it was great writing the proposal and subsequent sole source justification for JoAnne Duby. JoAnne is a fantastic sculptor who has just been chosen to restore and repair the Condor at the Ojai Valley Museum. I have been supporting JoAnne’s marketing efforts for a couple years now, and I’m thrilled she got this project and equally thrilled I was able to help. Please read the article I’ve supplied here from the current Ojai Valley Museum News to give you some background and the unfortunate set of circumstances that requires this very in-depth project.
After a couple months in the works, WORKRITE’s large custom 40-ft booth is shipping to its first show! The design process involved taking the same structure and integrating the elements and colors from the new 20-ft booths I design back at the beginning of the year. Modifications included re-laminating all surface structures and all new fabric ‘skins’ for the tower. Everyone loved it and it’s off to Philadelphia tonight!
